Conversation Practice Session

LeRoy Smith Updated by LeRoy Smith

Overview

Experience your Conversation end-to-end ahead of the live event! Run through the timing and flow, dial in your Discussion Guide, gather feedback from stakeholders, and preview the participant experience.

During a practice session, you have access to the full functionality of the platform and can have up to 25 Participants and 5 Collaborators in the session. You can start a practice session directly from the Conversation you’d like to preview. Here is how it works:

  • Create a new or open up an unpublished Conversation
  • Complete the Basic Details and Schedule sections
  • Click on the Practice button in the top right corner
  • Select New Practice from the dropdown

If a practice session is already happening, you’ll see the Moderator and Participant links. You have the option of joining the ongoing practice session or end it and starting a new one.

Edits made during the practice session will not be saved to the original Conversation.

While you can only have one concurrent practice session for a specific Conversation, you can run as many consecutive practice sessions as you need.

If you accidentally close out the session, you can always re-open it. You will join precisely where you left off.
